Thanks for joining ParalegalCircle, Inc. (“ParalegalCircle”)!

ParalegalCircle creates a circle for Paralegals, Paralegal Students, and Vendors to collaborate with each other. As a member you will foster communities, bond, mentor, and learn. We deliver value by saving you the time it takes to go to multiple sites to get the information you need. We engage in research to develop, test, and improve our services and products. These Terms govern your use of ParalegalCircle as a Paralegal Member and/or a Paralegal Student Member.

There is no fee to join ParalegalCircle to network. There is a $5 monthly fee to join ParalegalCircle to access the premium resources made available to you. You may also pay the upfront annual fee discounted at $50.

We use cookies and your personal data to help determine your interests.

We do not sell your data and we do not share information that identifies your personal information, such as your name, email address or other contact information.

Networking Community (free access): After completing the Registration form, you will become a member of the ParalegalCircle community. You will be able to communicate and create groups similar to any other social networking websites. See General Group Guidelines for posting in Groups. See below for guidelines to posting in the main ParalegalCircle feed. We have the right to delete or restrict access to content that is in violation of these guidelines.

Always be polite and courteous to fellow Members. All Posts shall be treated with mutual respect. Members are allowed to freely express their opinion as long as it is not offensive to other Members. We want Members to freely express themselves but not at the expense of others or the integrity of our circle. Violators will receive three warnings before being banned from ParalegalCircle. Users involved in illegal activities will be banned immediately. Do not post derogatory photos, videos and other media in the main feed. NO trolling is permitted.

Respect each other’s privacy as well as your own. Fully deleting information from the Internet is a longshot. Advertising your business in the main feed is not allowed. If you would like to register as a Vendor, please go the Home Page and select the Vendors button. Do not upload malicious code or viruses or malicious code or anything that could disable, overburden, or impair the ParalegalCircle website. You own the intellectual property rights to content that you originate and post. By posting this content, you grant ParalegalCircle a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, and worldwide license to host, use, distribute, modify, run, copy, publicly perform or display, translate, and create derivative works of your content for the sole purpose of improving and promoting our services.

You are solely responsible for the content that you post, including any music that features in your post. ParalegalCircle does not authorise any use of music on our website. You may use the disclaimer that you do not own rights to the music; however, ParalegalCircle makes no guarantee that the disclaimer is acceptable to the owner of the music. To help ParalegalCircle protect you and others, we request that you advise us via email at support@paralegalcircle.com about any actions or content that you feel violates your rights or those of other members, these terms, or IP rights.

Vendor Directory (premium service): Vendors are listed in the Vendor Directory. By joining ParalegalCircle as a member, you will be able to search our directory of legal vendors (litigation company, court reporters, e-discovery, etc.) across the United States. If you need services in an area not listed in the Vendor Directory, please let us know and we will help you find someone. In the future, Vendors may join ParalegalCircle and post ads in the Vendor Directory. We will notify you when this happens. They will not contact you unless you invite them to do so. By accessing the Vendor Directory, this means that we can show you relevant and useful ads without telling advertisers who you are. We allow advertisers to tell us things like their business goal, and the kind of audience they want to see their ads.

Job Board (premium service): Legal Recruiters post legal jobs on the Job Board. You may also upload your Resume. By clicking Apply Now, your information will be sent to the posting Recruiter. They will not contact directly you unless you invite them to do so.

Donations (free access): There are fees associated with maintaining the active status of ParalegalCircle. It is funding through private funds, donations, and membership fees. Your contribution are always appreciated. If you make a donation, you acknowledge that you make the donation as a charitable contribution, and you are not receiving any goods or services in return. As the tax laws vary by state and by country, please consult a tax professional regarding the deductibility of this donation.

Classified Ads (premium service): Once you become premium member, you may choose to sell items in ParalegalCircle’s Classifieds sections. Sellers are also responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations. Failure to comply may result in a variety of consequences, including deletion of listing. ParalegalCircle reserves the right to reject, approve, or remove any listing for any reason, in our sole discretion.

No Warranties. You acknowledge that any products or services you may purchase are sold by other members of ParalegalCircle, not by ParalegalCircle, unless expressly stated. PARALEGALCIRCLE MAKES NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO ANY PRODUCTS OR SERVICES SOLD ON OR THROUGH THE CLASSIFIED ADS SECTION OF ITS WEBSITE.

Sellers are prohibited from: the buying or selling of ingestible supplements, the buying, selling, or use of weapons, ammunition, or explosives, the buying or selling of animals, the buying, selling, or use of adult products or services, the buying or selling of alcohol, the selling of certain healthcare products and services, including medical devices, or smoking cessation products, the buying or selling of human body parts or fluids, the buying, selling, or facilitate gambling, games of skill or lotteries, including online casinos and gambling, sports books, bingo, or poker if it costs money, the selling of deceptive, false, misleading or offensive offers or products, the positioning products or services in a sexually suggestive manner, the buying or selling of downloadable digital content, digital subscriptions or digital accounts, the buying or selling of devices that facilitate or encourage streaming digital content in an unauthorized manner or interfering with the functionality of electronic devices, the buying or selling of real, virtual or fake currency, the promotion of news, humor or other content that has no intention to buy or sell products or services, listing that contain content that infringes upon or violates the intellectual property rights of any third party, including copyright or trademark, and the buying or selling of recalled products. The listings must not wrongfully discriminate or suggest a preference for or against people because of a personal characteristic, included but not limited to, race, ethnicity, color, national origin, citizenship, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, marital status, disability, or medical or genetic condition. Listings must comply with all applicable laws prohibiting discrimination.

Payments ParalegalCircle is not liable for underlying transaction. If you enter into a transaction with a third party and have a dispute over the goods or services you purchased or over the donation you made, we have no liability for the goods or services underlying the transaction or for how the third party used your donation. Our only responsibility is to handle your payment transaction. All payments are final unless otherwise required by law. If you order something that becomes unavailable before it can be provided to you, you may request a refund of your payment.

Duty to notify ParalegalCircle. If you believe that an unauthorized or otherwise problematic transaction has taken place under your account, you agree to notify us immediately, so that we may take action to prevent financial loss. Unless you submit the claim to us within 30 days after the charge, you will have waived, to the fullest extent permitted by law, all claims against us arising out of or otherwise related to the transaction.

Intervention. ParalegalCircle may intervene in disputes concerning payments that may arise between you and a developer, but we have no obligation to do so. Technical difficulties. If you experience a technical failure or interruption of service that causes your payment to fail, you may request that your transaction be completed at a later time.

Our goal is to always work to improve our services and develop new features to make our services and resources beneficial to you and our circle. This may result in updating our Terms and Policies at times. We will inform you of any changes before they go into effect. Once any updated Terms and Policies are in effect, you will be bound by them if you continue to access the ParalegalCircle website.

We also invite you to make suggestions on how we can improve our website, services, etc. This circle was created with you in mind with hopes of making our lives as Paralegals just a wee bit easier. However, we are under no obligation to compensate you, and we are under no obligation to keep the suggestions confidential.

To the extent permitted by law, we also DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not control or direct what people and others do or say, and we are not responsible for their actions or conduct (whether online or offline) or any content they share (including offensive, inappropriate, obscene, unlawful, and other objectionable content). We cannot predict when issues might arise. Accordingly, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and under no circumstance will we be liable to you for any lost profits, revenues, information, or data, or consequential, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or incidental damages arising out of or related to these Terms and Policies or the ParalegalCircle services and resources, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms and Polices or ParalegalCircle’s services or resources, will not exceed the greater of $100.

We try to provide clear rules so that we can limit or hopefully avoid disputes between you and ParalegalCircle. If a dispute does arise, however, it's useful to know up front where it can be resolved and what laws will apply. For any claim, cause of action, or dispute you have against ParalegalCircle, they must be brought in the Northern District of Texas and be governed by Texas law.

If any portion of these Terms and Policies are found to be unenforceable, the remaining portion will remain in full force and effect. If we fail to enforce any of these Terms and Policies, it will not be considered a waiver. Any amendment to or waiver of these Terms and Policies must be made in writing and signed by us. All of our rights and obligations under these Terms and Policies are freely assignable by us in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, or by operation of law or otherwise.

We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you. Indemnification. If anyone brings a claim, cause of action, or dispute against ParalegalCircle related to your services, actions, content or information on the ParalegalCircle website, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against all damages, losses, and expenses of any kind (including reasonable legal fees and costs) related to any such claim, cause of action, or dispute.
